Played by internationally touring artists, gigging musicians, and aspiring players, the Custom 24 features PRS's patented Gen III tremolo system and PRS 85/15 pickups with volume and tone controls and a 5-way blade switch. 85/15 pickups were personally designed by Paul Reed Smith to offer remarkable clarity and extended high and low end. The Custom 24 is the original PRS. Since its introduction, it has offered a unique tonal option for serious players and defined PRS tone and playability.

Fatback Construction

This Custom 24 takes the chunky body depth people love about the McCarty model and applies it to their most popular model! This adds a more vintage feel and weight to the instrument. Made up from a single piece of mahogany for fantastic resonance and sustain! On top of this one piece back is a hand selected 10-top flame maple top which looks absolutely stunning! Joined to the body is a Mahogany neck cut to the comfortable pattern thin profile with a rosewood fingerboard.

85/15 Pickups

This model comes fitted with 85/15 pickups which bring vintage and modern pickup design together to deliver exceptional clarity and extended high and low end. With balanced full-spectrum clarity, PRS 85/15's are perfect for modern players driving a pedalboard, and have enough character to deliver when plugging straight into an amp.
