This PRS S2 Mira Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar is the new updated 2017 edition of the series, with a beautiful Antique White finish. The semi-hollow all-mahogany body houses two PRS Mira pickups that deliver a gorgeous, creamy, low output tone. The semi-hollow construction provides excellent resonance, aiding in the S2 Mira SH's ability to create warm, smoky harmonic richness with tremendous punch and clarity. The rosewood fingerboard provides complex highs and thick, firm lows, while its open pore surface helps absorb any unwanted overtones. Mahogany Body & Neck

Constructed from a semi-hollow mahogany body and mahogany neck with a set-in design, the S2 Mira SH offers a warm and resonant tone with plenty of depth and grind. Mahogany is a medium to heavy wood, creating a strong and sturdy design that will stand up to the gigging musicians lifestyle. The neck's set-in construction delivers an advanced sustain, as the increased contact between the neck and body allows vibrations to transfers easily between the neck heel and body.

Low-Output Mira Humbucking Pickups

Equipped with two low output Mira pickups, the S2 Mira Semi-Hollow provides warm, creamy tone with plenty of rich harmonic depth and articulation. Both pickups provide a thick, full tone with excellent clarity. The Mira pickups feature three conductor wiring, with ground, hot, and coil tap wires. They can provide excellent single coil tone as well as their hypnotic humbucker sound, thanks to the Push-Pull tone control which engages the S2 Mira's coil split system.

Push/Pull Coil Tap

Incorporating a Push-Pull coil tap control on the tone pot, the PRS S2 Mira Semi-Hollow guitar can produce a range of sounds and tones perfect for versatile guitarists. Simply push/pull the tone control to switch the pickup between crisp single-coil sounds and strong, punchy humbucker tones. The 3-way pickup selector is used to create amazing tones for a range of music styles.
