Zach Myers:

Zach Myers, lead guitarist of the multi-platinum rock band Shinedown, picked up a PRS Custom 22 at the age of fifteen and announced his first SE signature model in 2010. As a guitarist who has rocked PRS on stage and teched for several PRS bands, Myers has an intimate understanding of how a guitar should feel and what the build quality should be. Those details have again created an eye-popping player's guitar that can take a beating.

When I was younger, I always wanted a "Private Stock" guitar, but I couldn't afford one. When I told Paul the SE Zach Myers reminded me of that, he laughed, but also slightly agreed. The goal of the PRS SE Zach Myers has always been to make a guitar that stood out in the long line of amazing, affordable guitars that is the SE Series. Construction

Body: The single-cutaway, semi-hollow body is crafted from mahogany back and sides, married to a bevelled maple top with flame maple veneer. The semi-hollow design is accentuated with an F-hole towards the lower bout. Everything about this body design is geared towards allowing the tonewoods to resonate as much as possible. The mahogany creates a swelling low-end, whilst the maple cuts through with a distinct clarity through the mids and highs. Thanks to the semi-hollow design, this guitar is a pleasure to use onstage being lightweight means you can play for hours without the strains of a heavy solid body. Whether it's practising at home alone or playing a 3-hour set in front of thousands, the Zach Myers' signature is an incredible comfortable and versatile guitar. Joined to the body is a satin finished mahogany neck cut to the wide-fat neck profile. It feels incredibly smooth and takes away the stickiness associated with high gloss necks and feels solid. Atop of the neck is a prs headstock with a matched finish and veneer to the body which looks stunning!

Pickups

The Zach Myers SE comes fitted with a set of the PRS Designed SE245 humbuckers which provide a warm and clear tone. Praised throughout the guitar community for there fantastic tone at this affordable price point. They can easily manage any tone you could desire from crystal clear clean tones to heavily distorted metal and everything else in-between. controlled by a master volume and tone control and a 3 way position switch.
