    Construction

    The LX1E may compromise on size but keeps top tier build quality and sound. Consisting of a Solid Sitka Spruce top supported by non-scalloped x bracing, paired with Mahogany HPL (High Pressure Laminate) Back & Sides. The guitar is finished in a smooth hand rubbed satin top, and satin back & sides to give it a rough yet classy feel. The LX1E has a Rust Birch Laminate neck with a Modified 0-14 Fret body size/neck join meaning it sports a shorter 23" scale length with a modified low oval neck shape which feels comfortable for hands of any size.

    Pickup and Practicality

    The LX1E comes fitted from the factory with a Fishman Sonitone preamp system which is extremely discreet with the controls being tucked neatly inside the sound hole so without knowing you wouldn't notice it was there. Having this system fitted in a compact guitar allowed you to take it anywhere, plug in and play instantly. The compact size of the little martin makes it the perfect guitar for on the go, whether you want a guitar for open mic nights, camp sites or to just leave it in the car for when inspiration strikes.
