Tanglewood TW40 O AN E Electro Acoustic Guitar
Part of the Sundance Historic series, this stunning Orchestra shape guitar has a superb tone and great action.
Construction
Tanglewood have incorporated a Solid Spruce Top with mahogany back and sides which gives it a bright and resonant tone, coupled with a one piece mahogany velute neck with tuning via open waverly style machine heads it has great tuning stability and feel to the neck. Finished off with a natural gloss and Fishman Sonitone EQ the Tanglewood TW40 O AN E is a guitar designed to please and is fantastic to look at as well as fantastic play-ability and sound acoustically or through a live sound system.
Part of the Sundance Historic guitar series, the Tanglewood TW40 O AN E features a solid spruce top with mahogany back and sides. This guitar shouts retro, with an orchestra folk shaped body and discrete control knobs. Richly resonant with a bright tone and deep bass notes, the TW40 comes equipment with the popular Fishman Sonitone pickup preamp system, with on-board electronic tuner.
One of the best things about this guitar is the way they have kept the vintage look but added a Pre-amp to the guitar. With EQ and volume controls fit snug on the upper inside of the sound hole there is no plastic block around the edge of the guitar as there usually is and no excess holes drilled as the jack is through the Strap button.

Callam: After playing a few of our new acoustics in store I decided I was going to treat myself to a new one with a budget of around 500. After months of playing around on a few of the guitars here we had in store i decided to go the for TW40 O AN E. I chose this guitar mainly down to the acoustic sound fitting my ideal acoustic sound being quite a bright tone yes still having a great resonant low end to it. Coupled with this the guitar had a very vintage look to it like an old martin which was very pleasing to my eye. The final reason which I chose to go for this guitar over the others was the very wide neck which felt extremely comfortable in my hand made changing notes and chords easier to myself with more room between the strings.
