    Construction

    Yamaha are very well known for their superior built quality and the FG820 truly shows this, it feels solid and very well built from the moment you pick it up. Featuring a solid Sitka spruce top, Mahogany Back & Sides and the newly developed Scalloped Bracing. The FG820 has fantastic projection and a great and wide open tone. Glued to the body you have a solid feeling Nato neck with a smooth rosewood fretboard sat on top. This allows the guitar to feel comfortable in your hand and gives you a solid grip all along the neck.
