The compact YDP-S34 in white ash can fit into the smallest of rooms and yet offers all the features any aspiring pianist needs. A graded hammer piano feel opens the doors to the built-in CFX concert grand piano and other sound. Beautiful dynamics and sound detail make you feel like your playing the real thing. It will even integrate with the Smart Pianist app which makes learning fun and intuitive, and all for free. The built in cover/ folding lid acts as protection and also a large music rest for placing your sheet music or tablet on. This piano is a true all round great instrument for the beginner and developing players.
Concert Grand Inside
Despite its compact size, the YDP-S34 piano houses the rich and beautiful sound of the famous Yamaha CFX concert grand piano. The 9ft grand is renowned for its clarity and tonal quality and its sample is built-in ready to play. A great amount of detail from the original sound including damper resonance and key-off samples have been incorporated to create a genuinely authentic piano playing experience.
Graded Hammer Action
The 88 note GHS graded Hammer action offers a fantastic piano feel. Designed around the real thing, the action allows you to perform with the dynamics and response you expect of an acoustic instrument but with all he advantages of digital technology.
Quality Sound All The Time
Whether playing at lower or higher volumes or even performing with headphones on, the YDP-S34 performs with the optimum sound quality. Stereophonic Optimizer enhances the headphone experience by creating the illusion the sound is coming fromt he piano in front of you and not through the headphones. Alongside this the IAC (Intelligent Acoustic Control) adjust the tone of the instrument depending on the volume of the instrument. Quite often a sound is compromised when turned down as the tone is not as good as it should be so the system re-calibrates the sound to get the best quality at all levels.
