Compact in nature and big on sound, the lovely black Yamaha YDP-S34 digital piano has everything needed for the budding piano player. Despite its compact size it houses high quality sounds from the likes of the 9ft CFX grand piano, powerful sound effects processing and a high grade piano feel. It will even integrate with the popular Yamaha Smart Pianist app for fun learning and performance capabilities.
A Real Grand Sound
The sound of the Yamaha CFX 9ft Concert Grand comes built-in to the YDP-S34 piano. The piano is world renowned for its depth and quality of bass and tonal clarity which is portrayed beautifully through the compact cabinet of this piano. Every detail has been considered including the string resonance which re-creates the harmonic sound of open strings and key-off samples which re-create the finer sound of the keys being released and how it affects the individual string vibrations.
The GHS (Graded Hammer) piano action re-creates the feel of a grand piano. It is heavier in the bass end and gradually gets lighter at the top. The combination of this tried and tested feel and high quality piano sound ensures an exciting piano playing experience for all levels of player.
Advanced Sound Control Features
The YDP-S34 has some clever technology to ensure the highest quality sound at all times, whether using headphones or playing through it's built-in speaker system. When playing at lower volumes the Intelligent Acoustic Control auto adjusts the tone for optimum quality which is normally only achieved when volume levels are turned up. Switch to headphones and the Stereophonic Optimizer adjusts the sound to make you think the piano is playing from in front of you and not from the headphones.
