76 Touch Sensitive Keys

The PSR-EW425 is fitted with 76 touch responsive keys. The extended key range over a standard 61 key keyboard leans towards the piano player, offering great capability for left hand playing of piano pieces whilst offering the soft to loud dynamic range. Yet, for the keyboard player, the extra keys offer a great range of freedom for both left hand chords and right hand melody.

Sound Enhancing Features

Super Articulation lite

Many instruments have their own unique nuances that they are capable of producing when played live. The Super Articulation button allows you to trigger the nuances of these instruments, for example the string harmonics of a nylon guitar, just at the tap of a button.

Mega Boost

The PSR-EW425 is fitted with 2x 12w speakers which sound great but, you can further enhance the depth of sound with the Mega Boost button. This function adds 6dB to the apparent volume set by the volume knob. Adding a boost to the instruments speaker volume allows you to play with others or be heard above the crowd, even without a PA system.

DSP Effects

The PSR-EW425 is one of the only models in the PSR-EW series to feature two channels for insertion effects. Equipped with the latest LSI tone generator, this instrument delivers high-quality effects previously available only with high-end models.

Huge Array of Sounds and Styles

Choose from 290 automatic accompaniment Styles including rock, dance, and jazz as well a wide range of musical genres from around the world. Each style contains rhythms, bass, and chords/ phrases so you can play left hand chords and right hand melody in practically any style you like.

Of course with all those styles, the EW425 is also equipped with a massive choice of over 800 voices from pianos, to choirs, percussion, orchestral, ethnic voices and much much more.

Live Control Knobs

Playing music is great but having the capability to take control of your sound is crucial to taking it to the next level. The PSR-EW425 is equipped with 2x live control knobs on the front panel which allows you change and modify multiple parameters in real-time. For example, instantly add reverb so your lead sound for spacial pianos or synths, or adjust resonance and cutoff to create thick, epic synth sounds and sweeping sounds. They can even control parts of the backing styles. With just these dials the EW425 allows you create your own unique take on sounds and music.

Quick Sampling

Capture sound from outside of your instrument using the AUX input, microphone input or even by importing files from a USB storage device, and then play those sounds directly from your keyboard. The possibilities are endless!

USB Audio Recording/ Interface

Use the USB To Device port to record and play back audio files of your music from USB flash drives. Use the USB To Host port to send and receive audio and MIDI data to and from computers and smart devices with studio-quality.

Mic Input With Vocal Effects

Connect a microphone and sing along with your playing while using built-in studio-quality vocal effects, giving you everything you need for a pro-sounding performance.
