Custom Speakers
The new 1.75" Neodymium HF compression driver has been custom designed to enhance clarity and tonal quality. The low end is powered by the superb 10" speaker with a 2" voice coil, the combination of the 2 units with the specialist sound processing takes the sound quality to a new level for a compact speaker.
Intelligent Sound Processing
The DXR10 MKII has enhanced sound and power combined with high quality sound processing which ensure nothing but the highest quality sound no matter what volume the speaker is set to. The technologies have been developed from NEXO technology which was one of the leading audio companies in the world, which Yamaha now owns.
FIR-X tuning; In real-time this system looks at the frequency and phasing of the signal and optimizes the sound based on its analysis. The result is a smooth sound around the crossover point helping with sound imaging and clarity.
D-Contour; This system analyses the output of multiple frequencies and then calculates the optimum EQ adjustments for each of those frequency bands. This result in the best tonal quality no matter what volume the speaker has been set to.
