British Tone with American Flavour
This Brand new Limited Edition AC15C1 G12C has everything you know and love from the standard AC15C1, the crystal clear clean tones to an edgy crunch when pushed. Now with the added benefit of a G12C speaker by a US company called Warehouse. The Warehouse G12C fitted in this amplifier is 100% hand made in Kentucky, and sits in their American Vintage series of speakers. The G12C produces a punchy low-end response to give the AC15 a stronger thicker sound, they also have the benefit of a clearer top-end without any compromise on dynamics or sensitivity.
AC15C1 As you know it
Apart from the addition of this stunning G12C speaker and fancy black leather cabinet covering, everything else you know and love about the Vox AC15C1 is kept the same. You have two-channels normal and top-boost, each of these channels has independent volume controls paired with a master volume making is easy to push the pre-amp for warm crunchy tones whilst keeping the overall output volume sensible. On the Top-Boost channel you also have the benefit of Bass and Treble controls to tweak and dial in that perfect tone. The extra Global control you have is a tone-cut control which operates in the power stage rather than the pre-amp stage, allowing an additional degree of tone-shaping.
Effects
As with your standard AC15C1 you also have Vox's classic tremolo effect, with individual depth and speed controls to allow you to adjust your tremolo to your needs whether you're playing massive spacey chords, or just wanting to add a bit more depth to your already fantastic tone this tremolo gives you even more versatility without the need for any external effects. Paired with the tremolo you have a built in Spring Reverb so you dial in as much 'space' as you would require no matter the situation. Both the Reverb and the Tremolo are also foot-switchable meaning via the optional VFS2 foot switch you can switch both the reverb and tremolo on and off independently.
