    Blackstar HT-5R MKII Valve Combo Amplifier

    New and Improved

    The MkII version of the HT-5R has everything that was fantastic about the original HT-5R but with added features which benefit everyone. You now have a variable power switch which turns the 5w into a much more manageable 0.5w, This allows you to push the amp to achieve a warm overdriven sound but at practice and home friendly volumes! Another great feature which has been added for the MkII is the option to switch voices on each channel with the foot switch, this allows for much more control with your feet in live situations. The reverb in the amp has also been redesigned and is much warmer and prominent that previously.

    Crystal Clear Tones and Control

    The tone which this little 5w combo produces can only be described as warm and full! You have plenty of control with dual voicing on each channel. On the clean channel you have a volume and tone controls to dial in your preference to suit. On the OverDrive channel you have a volume and Gain control as well as a 3-band EQ as well as Blackstars own ISF tone shaping. ISF allows you to easily switch between a British and US sound or a blend between the two. As well as all of this control you also have built-in reverb with a level control to adjust to your environment.

    Studio Use

    This amp is the perfect match for anyone looking for a good, solid valve amp for a home or smaller studio. The low wattage and the benefit of the 0.5w power switch gives you the freedom to crank the HT-5 right up to get studio quality crisp and warm tones without the floor and windows shaking. The amp is also able to record direct to a computer via USB which is quick and easy to setup in minutes! For higher quality recording you also have an XLR output on the back of the amp which provides speaker emulation giving you the best clear sound for your next track and also eliminates any background noise.
