Construction

The Takamine EF341SC electro acoustic has been the choice of pro musicians of all genres including some big names such as Jon Bon Jovi and Bruce Springsteen. The versatility of this guitar begins with its solid cedar top that can play sweet mellow passages or power chords with equal ability. The maple back and sides are a perfect reflector for the tone generated by the soundboard and the gloss black finish looks great under the stage lights. The mahogany neck is joined to the body with a traditional, ultra strong dovetail joint.

Built with the performer in mind, the EF341SC features Takamine's proprietary CTP-3 Cool Tube pre-amp system paired with the unique Palathetic under-saddle pickup for peerless amplified response. The dual-channel CTP-3 provides low-voltage tube tone, variable from bright and brilliant to thick and warm, three band EQ with semi-parametric midrange, auxiliary input and volume (for use when a second pickup is added), and an onboard chromatic tuner.
