      Construction

      This GF15CE is cut to Takamine's new compact FXC Folk style body shape, slightly smaller than the popular NEX shape it is extremely comfortable and snug. The body is made up of a select spruce top paired with mahogany back and sides, this tried and tested combination is a standard across the board for acoustic guitars due to its rich and vibrant tonal properties. Joined to the body is a mahogany neck cut to a comfortable profile to suit every style of playing.

      Gig-ready Electronics

      The Takamine GF15CE is ideal for the gigging guitarist due to it being equipped with Takamine's own preamp, built-in, with the added convenience of an on-board tuner. This compact and sophisticated design offers slider switches for bass, middle and treble as well as a rotary control for gain. Simply plug into an amplifier or P.A System and tweak your own natural acoustic sound to your personal preference for rehearsal or live environments.
