      Fender Newporter Player Electro-Acoustic Guitar Ice Blue Satin

      Brand new to the California series of acoustic guitars for 2019 we have the stunning Newporter in Ice Blue Satin. Cut to the comfortable Newporter shape which has a generous cutaway allowing for easy access to the upper frets. The body is constructed from a solid spruce top and laminated mahogany back and sides, this tried and tested combination of woods has been used in Fenders acoustic guitars for years and provides a clear and resonant tone. Joined to the body you have a mahogany neck cut to a very comfortable slim c profile, this profile allows for ampul grip across the neck with the benefit of being able to reach your thumb over if required. A top of the neck is a walnut fretboard, not usually associated with a fretboard wood the walnut adds a touch of class to the newporter. To the top of the neck you have a classic Fender 6 in-line headstock painted to match the body of the guitar. The headstock is fitted with sealed nickel machine heads which allow for fantastic tuning stability.
