Refurbished directly from the manufacturer the guitar may have very slight marks or blemishes but nothing which effects the tone or playability, give us a call for anymore information or pictures. This particular model has a very slight mark next to the jack plug, apart form this the guitar is as new full warranty original packaging, case and everything included.
INCLUDES PRS PADDED GIGBAG
Based on the SE Mark Tremonti, designed and built to Mark's specifications, the SE Tremonti Custom trades a mahogany body and neck for a figured maple top and maple neck, providing a new aesthetic and feel for this popular model. The addition of trem-up-rout to the PRS designed tremolo bridge (previously only available on the Core Tremonti model) is also a welcome addition. The Tremonti Custom continues to feature two humbuckers, each with their own volume and tone control, and a three-way pickup selector on the upper bout.
Body
The main wood used on the body of this guitar is mahogany which is widely used for guitar bodies and necks. Mahogany provides prominent overtones and a rich midrange and works extremely well paired with the Maple Cap as it emphasises a sweet and clear high-end. As well as this it has a set glued neck design so the neck is glued into the body rather than bolted on this helps give greater sustain and resonance from the headstock to the bottom of the body.
Bird Inlays
One of the most recognisable things about PRS guitars and which makes them stand out is their beautiful Bird inlays. These are what make PRS guitars stand out to begin with and are used on most models to date! Based on real life birds due to Pauls mother being a bird watcher which was his inspiration for this design some of the birds used include, Common Tern, Coopers Hawk, Kite and an Owl.
Tuners & Nut
Paul Reed Smiths SE Tuners are renowned for being extremely stable and precise and highly regarded round this price bracket as one of the most stable excluding locking tuners and nuts. As well as the Tuners one of the three main contact points for the string is the nut which is essential to the guitars tone. Prs use a proprietary nut material, designed to maximise the guitar's tonal resonance. PRS nut placement is compensated to provide accurate intonation across the fretboard.
Pickups
The PRS SE 245 pickups provide the guitar with a highly articulate and thick tone with the maple making the guitars Highs clearer and cut through the mix much better. The pickups in this guitar will suit most styles of music but really shine which it comes to the Rock and Blues area they are really crisp sounding and treble based due to being matched with a maple cap and a maple neck.
