Construction

The PRS S2 Custom 22 consists of a mahogany body with a maple cap the tried and tested combination found on the majority of PRS's guitars, it gives you ampul sustain and resonance without being overbearing and too heavy to play stood up. The body is cut to the standard Double-cut Custom shape which allows for easy access to the upper frets as well as the top being cut to allow your arm to comfortably sit over the guitar whether playing stood up or sat down. Joined to the body is a 22 fret Mahogany neck consisting of a 25" scale length, rosewood fretboard and stunning bird inlays.

Pickups & Electronics

The S2 Custom 22 now comes fitted with the 'S' Series 85/15 pickups, These were designed specifically for the SE and S2 guitars to replicate the sound, dynamics and response of the American made pickups at a more then affordable price point for everyone. You have control over these from a master tone, master volume, 3 way pickup selector switch and a push/pull control on the tone pot allowing you to split the pickups to single coil.

Hardware

This model comes fitted with the S2 locking tuners, known for their fantastic tuning stability, paired with the tremolo bridge system you never have to worry about your guitar slipping out of tune mid song. Both the bridge and machine heads have brass contact points which gives the guitar that extra bit of sustain due to the better contact surface.
