The CE24

The PRS CE24 is regarded as the best value for money PRS guitar. Sporting the USA made 85/15 pickups which on their own sell for over £500! You get the looks, feel, and sound of a core range guitar but with a bolt on maple neck rather than the traditional glued set neck. The only sacrifice is the Indonesian made trem system, locking tuners and comes with a padded gigbag rather than a hardcase.

Construction

Consisting of a one sold piece mahogany body with a beautiful maple cap this guitar not only looks fantastic but has ample of sustain and resonance! With a bolt on maple neck and beautiful solid gloss finish this guitar just screams quality craftsmanship and style! The mahogany body provides all the sustain and low end you could need with the maple cap and neck providing that extra twang to your sound this really is a match made in heaven. Paired with a satin finished maple neck it feels smooth and easy to play.

Pickups & Hardware

In recent years PRS have started creating a wider range of pickups all based on vintage style PAF pickups but with modern twists to make them more suitable for the modern guitarist. This year they have introduced the new 85/15 pickups that focus on providing the best pickups for the modern guitarist. When compared to other pickups like the 58/08s and 59/09s these pickups have impeccable clarity with extended high and low end to make sure you can get the tone you want every time you plug it in. Finished off with Nickel hardware using PRS's fantastic tremolo bridge system you can play to your hearts content knowing your guitar is staying in tune, especially being matched with their fantastic locking tuners also with a nickel finish.
