To pay tribute to over 6 decades of USA Custom. Gretsch launched the Exotic Red Gum USA Custom kits at the beginning of 2019. Only 25 of these Bebop kits will be made making this a future collectors piece too! Because Gum is a key ingredient to the the USA Custom sound, Gretsch decided to use an additional outer ply of Red Gum, which is indigenous to the Southeast United States to pay respect to this key shell ingredient.
The USA Custom has been delivering 'That Great Gretsch Sound' for over 6 decades and the unique 6 ply Maple / Gum formula has always consistently delivered. Gretsch USA Custom drums are still some of the most sought after drums by pro players and recording professionals across the globe, if you've had a chance to play one of these kits you'll understand why.
The kit features all the usual USA custom hardware features such as Diecast hoops, USA Custom Bass Drum Spurs, GTS Mount on the Tom and G4825 floor tom brackets. The kit also comes with a presentation box which has an owners welcome letter, two Gretsch drum keys, some spare parts and a polishing cloth.Features
