      • Construction

      The New G5222 consist of a chambered mahogany body cut to the double cutaway jet shape. This provides you with ampul sustain and resonance. A top of the body is a maple top which provides a mid-range punch and smooth grain visible through the transparent finish. Joined to the body is a set mahogany neck cut to a Thin "U" neck shape which feels firm and solid in your hands and allows for easy grip and down the neck.

      Electronics

      The G5222 comes fitted with a set of Gretsch's fantastic Black Top BroadTron pickups known for producing a clear and vibrant tones whilst also being able to product agressive overdriven tones with ease. The pickups are controlled via a 3-way pickup selector switch, master volume control fitted with a treble bleed circuit, individual pickup volume controls and master tone control. The G5222 gives you plenty of tonal choice no matter the style of music you would want to play.
