    Construction

    Exclusive for the UK! These Satin finished Very Thin models are constructed from a high quality mahogany top and flame maple back and sides which are finished in a stunning satin black stain. The very thin body shape has been extremely popular due to keeping all the resonance and warmth from a semi hollow body but due to the shallow (very thin) body it sits closer to your body and feel more comfortable to play. The body also has a spruce centre block which keep the noise to a minimal, adds some strength to the body also allows it to resonate more. Joined to the body you have a traditional set Hofner neck which continues with the satin finish to allow for comfort and smoothness up and down the neck.

    This Satin Very Thin model comes fitted with a set of vintage voiced humbucker pickups with allow you to re-create that classic 60s era sound with ease, paired with the resonance and warmth provided by the semi hollow body it is a perfect match for anyone after that true vintage Hofner tone. Whilst allowing for this fantastic tone you aren't limited to the one style, crank your amp up and this pickups can provide a fantastic bluesy grunt or soaring lead tones with ease.
