Traditional Telecaster Construction

The American Professional Telecaster has been constructed using a Solid Alder body, maple neck, and maple/rosewood fingerboard. This is a tried and tested combination which hasn't changed much since the beginning. This paired with telecaster single-coils produces the sound of which every guitarist around the globe has come to know and love. Available in a variety of beautiful finishes and the choice of rosewood or maple neck.

V-Mod Pickups

If you are looking for a true telecaster sound then look no further! A great set of vintage Tele single-coil pickups should sound clear and crisp, have a huge dynamic range, and be able to get gritty and aggressive when needed. Designed by the pickup guru Tim Shaw, this set of V-Mod single-coils to do just that. But unlike vintage pickups, the V-Mod single-coils are crafted with different alnico magnets in both pickups. This means you'll enjoy consistent output across all the three pickup positions. And the onboard treble bleed circuit ensures your tone stays clear and present when lowering the guitar's volume.

3-Point Strung Through Bridge

Another way the Fender American Professional Telecaster blends the best of old and new is its new brass-barrel bridge design. The three brass-barrel saddles that helped vintage Teles with their unmistakable sound. But this guitar's brass saddles allow for a much better connection between the bridge and string generating more sustain and contributing to that classic telecaster sound.

New Neck Profile

The new Deep-C neck profile that you'll find on the Fender American Professional Telecaster is a slight change from the Fender American neck players have been in love with for years. By adding a thicker profile to the back, the Deep-C carve fills your hand perfectly while never inhibiting your playing technique, giving you ampul grip allowing for more controlled and precise playing.
