Construction
This Fender Deluxe Stratocaster features an Ash body, differing from the more common Alder used on most Fender guitars. Ash was used exclusively on all Fender guitars in the early 50's where as now it is mostly used on natural or transparent finish guitars due to it taking the finish much better than an Alder body. Ash is known for producing great articulation and presence with a great balance between brightness and warmth. Finished in the stunning Sapphire Blue Transparent the body looks incredible. Joined to the body you have a maple neck cut to the ever popular modern C profile which feels comfortable from the nut to the body join. With a classic maple fretboard featuring 21 Narrow Tall frets across a 25.5" scale length. It is everything you would expect from a fender Strat but with stunning looks and different tonewood option to your normal Alder bodied Strats.
Electronics
The Fender Deluxe Stratocaster comes fitted with a set of Fender fantastic Vintage Noiseless pickups. These pickups provide you with a fantastic low output vintage wound pickup sound but with the added benefit of being noiseless meaning they are suitable for all styles of music at all volumes. By cancelling out the usual hum associated with normal single coil pickups you can easily push your amp with more gain without the worry of unwanted noise in the background. You switch between the pickups with the Fender standard 5-way blade switch giving you all the tonal variation you would need with the warmth of the neck pickup and snap and response form the bridge as well every position between. You also have a master volume knob and two tone controls, one for the neck and middle pickups and one for the bridge pickup. The Deluxe Strat also has an additional switch tucked between the Tone Knobs which allows the Bridge pickup to be activated on positions 4 and 5 allows for even more tonal variety or that extra punch when you need it.
