Construction

The PRS SE A40E Electro-Acoustic Guitar pairs a Solid Spruce Top with Ovangkol Back & Sides which provides a stunning and clear tone. These stunning tonewoods are improved massively with PRS's hybrid"X"/Classical bracing, this type of bracing allows the top wood to freely vibrate making for greater projection and volume than your standard bracing pattern. Fitted to the body you have a Mahogany neck cut to the wide fat profile which fits snugly in your hands and provides ampul grip from nut to the body. A top of the neck you have a stunning ebony fretboard inlayed with the traditional PRS Bird Inlays.

Fishman Pickup System

The A40E comes fitted with a FIshman GT1 pickup system which delivers a a dynamic and organic natural tone. This allows you to project the fantastic tone which this guitar provides on stage or just plugged into your favourite amplifier. The discrete deisgn of the Fishman system has no effect to the outer woods of the guitar with the volume and tone controls being mounted inside the sound hole, this not only gets rid of the nasty plastic block on the side of the guitar but also means you have easier access to the controls without having to move your hands away from the strings.
