The Taylor 810ce Dreadnought is a fantastic guitar and described as one of the true icons of the Taylor guitar line. The figured maple binding and traditional dreadnought shape make the 810ce guitar an irresistible choice.

Quality tonewoods are key to the construction of a great sounding guitar. The Taylor 810ce boasts Indian Rosewood back and sides and a Sitka Spruce Top which help to create its naturally rich and warm tones.

The Taylor 810ce Dreadnought comes complete with Taylors Expression System ES2; Taylor newly designed Piezo pickup which delivers a purer signal and a warm, natural acoustic sound. So whether plugged in or not, the Taylor 810ce is the perfect guitar for lovers of natural, full tones and versatility.

Extras include a deluxe hardshell case, a left handed variant for the same price (call for details) and a 12 YEAR WARRANTY with Taylor!

      The Taylor 810ce `Dreadnought` shape

The Taylor 810ce dreadnought infuses an iconic guitar shape with signature Taylor design refinements to give players an inspiring neo-traditional guitar. The body style boasts a rich heritage in the acoustic guitar world, and over the course of many decades has established a familiar look and sound among players and listeners.

The dreadnoughts big body features a wide waist, which helps produce a loud robust voice, espacially on the low end, along with snappy, punchy quality in the mid-range that appeals to the traditional strummers and flat pickers.

Taylors refinements to the dreadnought have brought modern enhancements to the look tone and playing experience, while still retaining the essence of what classic dreadnought players crave. Over the years the body curves were subtly softened from it`s boxy outline into a smoother contour that aligns well with the design aesthetic of other Taylor shapes

Tonally, Bob Taylor revoiced the guitar to optimize the volume and bass response while also boosting the mid-range, preserving the tonal balance from bottom to top. He also enhanced the clariy and overall articulation, giving flatpickers more tonal definition on fast runs. Together with Taylor`s sleek necks and renowned playablity, a potent dreadnought sound is more accessable than ever.
