The Arts Council are encouraging people to learn to play. The benefits of playing a musical instrument have long been recognised and the Arts Council are doing their bit to encourage all wannabe musicians to buy a musical instrument. The finance scheme is open to new players and players wanting to upgrade their current instrument. They are offering assistance on loans from £100 to £2000 subject to status. The procedure is really simple and is a great way to spread the cost of a musical instrument. A&C Hamilton are pleased to have been chosen by the Arts Council to offer the facility
Sound Control in Preston offered a great service to Bands and DJ's. A&C Hamilton are opening new departments to provide this service to drummers and DJ's. Initially we will concentrate on the "must have's" eg. drum skins,drum heads sticks, and hardware. Stock is due to arrive from 8/5/08. We already supply amplification to pro and semi pro performers and will expand this department over time. Our Guitar department is well stocked although valve amps is an area we need to offer more. Synths and hi tech is an area we are specialists. Please feel free to offer advice and opinions as we develop our company to fill some of the gaps left by Sound Control
