Yamaha LL6 Are Electro Acoustic Guitar - Brown Sunburst

The combination of outstanding tonewoods, complex tones and stylish brown sunburst finish make it a fantastic acoustic. The inclusion of a Zero Impact pickup gives the LL6 the added bonus of being ready for plugging in and turning up too. When it comes to guitars, many guitarists would argue that the longer an acoustic has had to age, the greater the tonal depth and richness of timbre that is evident when it is played. To allow their new models to develop that played-in feel earlier, Yamaha developed their Acoustic Resonance Enhancement (A.R.E.) technology, which means that the tonewoods have been treated with incredible care to adjust their unique characteristics with regard temperature, humidity and atmospheric pressure. This gives the LL6 a rich, mature character straight away.

The body profile is that of the jumbo, giving the LL6 an uncompromising and powerful ability to project its rich tones with ease. Strummers will appreciate the ease with which full-bodied sounds are formed and projected by the jumbo shape, making it excellent for both singer-songwriters, solo performers and players in ensembles. The back and sides are built using rosewood, a tonewood that is filled with complexity and an emphasis on mid to low-end power. The rosewood is paired with a solid Engelmann spruce top, a deeply resonant wood that offers a sparkling articulation that shapes the tonal output perfectly.

The spruce top has been reinforced using a new modified non-scalloped bracing design, which retains the L series' unique character with vigour. The natural finish of the LL16 is complimented by the detailed binding, rosette and tortoise coloured pickguard. The headstock is adorned with Yamaha's logo that stands proudly alongside the striking gold tuning machines. The LL6 electro acoustic is fitted with Yamaha's new 5-ply neck design. Constructed from rosewood and mahogany, the composition integrates the neck, head and body into a single-unit to create a powerful sound with masses of sustain. The sturdy nature of the neck allows it to resist twisting and warping over time. Married to the neck is a delightful rosewood fingerboard, which provides a luxuriously touch as you glide along the 20-fret playing surface.

Pickup System

The new SRT Zero Impact pickup system has been fitted to the LL6. The newly developed passive pickup delivers the unique timbre of this beautiful guitar with grace and clarity, utilising individual Piezo-electric elements for each string, which also give it an outstanding presence when playing live. The LL6 ARE electro acoustic guitar is the perfect model for amateurs and professionals who require a guitar that has a rich and complex timbre straight out of the box. The new neck profile is very comfortable to play along, whilst the LL6 body shape is a joy to perform with thanks to its lightweight design. The SRT Zero Impact pickup reflects the character of the body shape/tonewood combination with fantastic accuracy.
