Yamaha FG3 Red Label Acoustic Guitar Natural - B-Stock
This FG3 is a B-Stock model supplied direct from Yamaha, it has a cosmetic mark to the top of the headstock and is missing the original box and packaging, apart from this the guitar is perfect and comes with the original hard foam bag

At our founding in 1887, our founder Torakusu Yamaha gave the company the name Nippon Gakki Co, Ltd (Musical Instruments of Japan) - only later did we legally bear his name. Hence Nippon Gakki was the name shown on the red labels most famously associated with our original Folk Guitar series. The Nippon Gakki Red Label FG acoustic guitar is one of our most iconic instruments. The reintroduction of the Red Label today invokes our history of over fifty years of guitar making. The result is a modern Folk Guitar with a clear heritage of our Japanese craftsmanship and innovation.
Red Label
Yamaha have taken a look back at their iconic red label acoustic guitars of the 1960s taken everything that was great about them and implemented modern technology to re-create the classic vintage guitars. The original red label guitars are now widely collectable and sought after, these re-creations are made to be as close as possible to the real deal.
Premium Materials & Construction
The FG3 features an all solid construction having high quality mahogany back & sides and a Sitka Spruce top. The Spruce top has been treated with Yamaha's A.R.E (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement) Technology, this is a complicated process which changes the wood to act as if it is aged and gives you a genuine aged-wood tone and sustain. These highest quality woods are paired with Yamaha's new scalloped bracing design which provides ampul volume and a nicely balanced tone. Joined to the body you have an african mahogany neck and ebony fretboard, true to the era it feels snug and comfortable in your hands. At the top of the neck you have the classic FG style headstock and forks logo, the truss rod cover also bears Since 1966 to mark the release of the FG series guitars.
