Construction

A small compact body with a full and expressive tone. The tried and tested combination of a Solid Sitka Spruce top and Mahogany Back & Sides paired with freshly designed scalloped bracing with a forward shift guitar structure allows for a full bodied and warm tone with a compact and comfortable body size. Paired to the body is a nato neck with a 20 fret rosewood fretboard making the guitar very comfortable to play especially for the younger player or players with limited reach.

SRT Passive Piezo Pickup

The Yamaha CSF1M comes fitted with the SRT Zero Impact Pickup system, a newly developed passive type pickup configuration designed to minimize the pickup's impact on the tone and traditional appearance of the instrument. The system utilizes individual piezoelectric elements for each string to faithfully reproduce the dynamic sound of the L Series and give the instrument outstanding presence when playing in a band or recording.
