Construction

The CPX1000 is known for its medium-jumbo body shape, popular due to it being big enough to produce a full and deep sound normally only apparent in full sized jumbo's yet be comfortable enough for anyone to play. Supported by non-scalloped bracing ensured you get a powerful, controlled tone. Consisting of a Solid Spruce top, paired with Nato back and sides this is the tried and tested combination of woods for acoustic guitars everywhere due to its fantastic tonal properties and strength. Joined to the body is a nato neck which is cut to a comfortable profile which feels great in your hands, a top the neck is a rosewood fretboard adorned with classy pearloid inlay design that gives the guitar a unique element of class.

Pickup & Electronics

Yamahas SRT pickup system is the latest step forward in acoustic guitar technology. This unique system allows the user to select between two different microphone settings, either a large diaphragm or an active ribbon microphone. these can then be blended with the built-in piezo pickup system as you see fit. You also have the benefit of a focus/wide switch as well as automatic feedback elimination built-in meaning you don't have to worry about feedback in high volume gigging situations.
