    Born for the stage

Flagship of the APX range, the APX1000 supercedes the old APX900, improving on the incredibly popular previous model with upgraded cosmetics and state-of-the-art technology. The new S.R.T. (Studio. Response. Technology) pre-amp system offers an excellent studio sound, combining an all-new undersaddle pickup with a preamp featuring exclusive mic models to create the most natural electro-acoustic tone of any system.

Getting a great micd acoustic sound is no easy task - and to ensure the mic models for S.R.T. sounded perfect Yamahas engineers traveled across the world to record in studios like NRG and East West in Los Angeles and Oceanway and Warner Chappell in Nashville.

The Yamaha APX1000s thin-line body combines incredible comfort, easy top-fret access and a sound perfectly suited to on-stage use with bright, clear mids, balanced highs and controlled lows. Specially designed non-scalloped X-type bracing allows the guitar's top to sing and maximizes the resonance of the unique body shape for a full, natural tone.

With dynamics, sensitivity and clarity built into the design from day one, the APX1000 is a guitar not to be underestimated.

Established in 1983 A&C Hamilton Musical Instruments maintains a healthy balance of traditional business values with a keen sense for new business ideas. Getting new customers and keeping existing customers are equally important to us. As the internet has changed all our lives we continue to grow from strength to strength applying the tried and trusted methods of traditional retail sales to this new world of internet sales and store sales. The world is a smaller place but we are all still individuals within it. It is so much more fun selling to some one you can have a chat with, either email phone or in the shop than just sending boxes via couriers. Our company has a solid financial basis to trade and all premises are owned in full by the directors.

Our Music Shop is on the outskirts of Preston with forecourt parking for 8 cars. Our closest town is Blackpool and nearby is Lytham St Annes. Blackburn and Southport are close by. Lancaster, Morecambe, Wigan, Burnley, Ormskirk, Bolton, Leigh, Accrington are also near me. Manchester Liverpool and Cumbria are around an hour away.
