Yamahas years of expertise in the manufacture of acoustic Pianos and other instruments has been used to create a keyboard that offers an exceptionally natural feel. The YDP-135 has a graded hammer action with keys that have a heavier touch in the low end and a lighter touch in the high end.
AWM (Advanced Wave Memory) is a sampling system which recreates sounds close to that of an acoustic instrument. By using digital sampling and filtering technology to record a Yamaha Concert Grand Piano, AWM delivers a high-quality, spacious, stereo Grand Piano sound.
Variable Touch Sensitivity is at three levels - hard, medium or soft - to match your playing style and finger strength. You can also turn off sensitivity for a fixed reponse, ideal for Keyboard and Organ sounds.
The three pedals (soft, sostenuto, and damper) complete the Piano playing experience.
Built into the YDP135 youll also find a 1-track recorder so you can record your performance and play it back instantly, perfect for playing along with or evaluating your performances. To help with your timing theres also a built in metronome.
The included 50 preset Piano songs are stored in the Piano for instant recall, and are all in the included sheet music book, 50 Greats for the Piano. These can be used for background music or as a learning reference.
