The Yamaha PSRE373 is a great keyboard for beginners

The benefit for children who are learning to play an instrument for the first time is that the keyboard can also double up as a starter piano. There are a couple of really good piano sounds on board. The keyboard is touch-sensitive (the harder you press the louder it gets ) just like a real piano.
