EW400 Piano

Yamaha have equipped the PSR-EW400 with a 'Live' Grand piano sound which is one of their best pianos. Because it has 76 notes, it offers much more freedom to play piano pieces without the same note restriction of the 61 note models. There are a range of pianos to choose from including realistic pianos end dynamic electric pianos, through to harpsichord and clavi piano types.

The EW400 keyboard is not just made for piano, it is packed with hundreds of other sounds to perform with. Guitars, string orchestras, synth lead, brass sounds and much much more. Sound selections can easily be seen with the blue back-lit LCD display.

Music is about fun and creativity so Yamaha have added 2 assignable controller knobs on the EW400 keyboard. Each knob can be twisted to instantly effect the sound or style parts adding your own unique vibe to the music. Dials can be assigned to different functions such as resonance and cutoff through to controlling effect levels.

Get Connected - EW400 USB Audio And MIDI Capabilities

That's right - The EW400 allows you to record audio and MIDI data as well as play back audio! Using a single USB cable you can connect to your favorite computer recording software and record audio and MIDI data. This mans recording high quality sound straight to your computer with ease and allows you, should you wish, to get really creative with your productions. As a bonus it is also possible to to play back your favourite audio tracks through the keyboard so you can practice and play along. There is even a built-in melody suppressor on the input which minimizes vocals on tracks.

Line Outputs

Another advantage of the PSr-EW400 over the PSR-E453 is the line outputs. There are dedicated line outputs on jack connectors on the rear panel so you can easily connect to amplification for performance through amplified speakers without the internal speakers cutting off.
