SHELLS

The Yamaha Gigmaker inherits a combination of Basswood/Poplar wood shells, formed into a 6-ply shell for all the Toms, and a 7-ply shell for the Bass Drum. Basswood/Poplar shells are one of the most popular choices amongst Beginner Acoustic Drum Kits for their warm character; providing a great sound at a great price.
