The Yamaha HS4 powered studio monitors offer incredible sound definition and a bass response you would never expect from such a compact system. With a 4.5" Woofer and 1" dome tweeter, these monitors are designed to meet the needs of those in pursuit of high definition sound in a compact package. Equipped with a Class-D amplifier, specially designed MDF cabinets and much more, these compact monitors to ensure superior sound detail.

High Performance - True Sound For Your Ears
The HS4 is equipped with a 4.5" woofer and clever speaker design to ensure the resulting sound is true to the heritage that HS monitors are world renowned for. Class-D amplifiers offer superb sonic clarity whilst a 'Twisted Flare' bass port lets the air flow smoothly from the MDF cabinet. The smooth flow of air ensures much smoother bass and less chance of bass resonance within the cabinet. The resulting sound is a rich bass and superior detail for those looking for accurate sound reproduction.
HS4 Multiple Rear Panel Input Options
The rear panel of the HS4 is equipped with combination XLR/TRS phone, RCA, and stereo mini connectors, allowing you to connect to a wide range of professional and consumer equipment such as computers, audio interfaces, audio mixers, and electric instruments. The most commonly used features-power button, volume knob, and headphone connector-are located in the front for easy access.
Adaptive Sound
Despite their compact size the Yamaha HS4 is ready to cope with any environment. ROOM CONTROL and HIGH TRIM functions allow you to make adjustments to achieve the ideal sound no matter where your speaker placement. For example - It allows you to reduce the unneeded, exaggerated low-end that can often occur when speakers are placed next to walls or compensate for high frequency offset from reflective or sound absorbent surfaces.
