Overview

The Takamine P6N Pro Series is an electro-acoustic guitar with an NEX resonance chamber. Part of the Pro Series, this Takamine guitar distinguishes itself by offering the combination of both stunning sound and equally as stunning looks. While the NEX-body looks like a jumbo model, it's actually slightly smaller and shapes a delicate sound that's perfect for backing up vocals.

Takamine P6N Body

Supported by a solid flamed maple back and sides, the solid spruce top of the P6N BSB ensures clear and bright projection, while the ebony fretboard adds a firm bit of attack to the overall tone. For natural grip, the asymmetrical neck is ever so slightly thinner at the high strings. The whole guitar is finished in high gloss which adds to the quality.

Takamine P6N Pre Amp System

Built with the performer in mind, the P6N features Takamine's proprietary CTP-3 Cool Tube™ preamp system paired with the unique Palathetic under-saddle pickup for peerless amplified response. The dual-channel CTP-3 provides low-voltage tube tone, variable from bright and brilliant to thick and warm, three-band EQ with semi-parametric midrange, auxiliary input and volume (for use when a second pickup is added), and an onboard chromatic tuner.
