Just connect the TM-1 to any Roland compatible Trigger pad to the TM-1 directly and play the sounds that you want or alternatively you can connect any of the Roland RT series Triggers to your acoustic drums for additional layering on top of your own sound in perfect sync with no lag what so ever.

Getting your own custom samples into your TM-1 has never been easier thanks to the Free editor app for Mac/Windows and IOS/Android. Simply connect your TM-1 to your device and import whatever sound from your sample library you like and tweak the settings as needed. The TM-1 can be powered via battery power or mains power so in an on stage environment you don't have to sacrifice your sound because you have no mains plug.

With the TM-1 Editor app you are able to access all the modules internal sounds, import your own original samples, assign sounds to each trigger pad and quickly customize them however you want. Samples up to 6 seconds long can be uploaded from your computer,tablet,smartphone or even cloud storage and you don't have to take your laptop to the gig to change sounds at the last minute just connect your smartphone.

The TM-1's compact size lets you take it wherever you want to go and the stomp box design lets it sit perfectly alongside any other floor mounted gear you might have on stage without getting in the way. As well as this, Battery support now eliminates the hassle of trying to find an AC power source when you need to set up in a hurry. Whether your producing at home, working in the studio or performing live sometimes you might need to send a MIDI signal when you hit a pad. The TM-1 simply provides this Trigger to MIDI conversion by connecting it to a computer via USB, allowing you to trigger sounds in drum samplers and plug in instruments, Record MIDI tracks into a DAW or control clips or other functions in performance software such as Ableton Live.
