Students will love it - and so will you.

The RP101 is yet another example of Rolands expertise in building fine instruments for music lovers on a budget. The RP101 contains an incredible, realistic piano sound and a range of advanced functions offering beginners and seasoned players pure piano performance pleasure.

    Great Piano Sound
Roland's acclaimed digital-piano technology makes the RP101 a standout in its class, offering a superb grand-piano sound with true-to-life piano resonance and brilliance. The RP101 is touch responsive to the subtlest pressure and nuance - from the deepest, most powerful bass to the most delicate highs.

    Roland RP101 Digital Piano

    PHA Alpha II Keyboard

    Grand Piano Sound

For the best possible piano sound, Roland has further improved its highly-acclaimed sound source. The result is rich, resonant tones and a subtlety even demanding pianists will love. The RP101 e is 64-voice polyphonic and provides digital Reverb and Chorus (E. Piano) effects as well as a Sympathetic Resonance feature that accurately simulates the rich sound you get when you press the damper pedal on an acoustic piano. The touch sensitivity is adjustable, so that even small children should be able to obtain good results. Students could use this function for finger-training exercises.

The RP101 is equipped with Roland's new PHA alpha II (Progressive Hammer Action alpha II), a hammer action keyboard with excellent finger response and sensitivity. As you play from the bottom of the keyboard to the top, you'll feel a subtle change in resistance, just as you would on an acoustic piano.
    Excellent Extras  Space-Saving Cabinet
The RP101 is designed to make your piano-playing experience enjoyable and convenient. A headphone hook is provided for easy storage and retrieval of headphones - great for those who prefer private practice. And when it comes to practicing, the RP101's built-in song recorder is a great way to capture your performances and play them back, so you can more efficiently chart your progress.  Its attractive, space-saving cabinet ensures that the RP101 will look great and fit into practically any room or space. Add a touch of "piano elegance" to your home without the cost or physical constraints of a traditional piano.
    Built-in Sound System
Equipped with its own convenient built-in stereo speaker system, the RP101 delivers rich, sparkling sound without requiring additional amplifiers or speakers. The volume of this piano is completely under your control - from whisper soft to full power.

New Keyboard action and stunning new piano sound

The new RP-101 digital pianos brings new piano sound and a refined realistic touch to a beautiful cabinet design. It boasts a stunning 88-key multi-sampled piano sound, along with the new PHA II keyboard with a dramatically wider dynamic range. Continuous damper pedal for richer expressiveness provides an acoustic feel in a digital piano.

Established in 1983 A&C Hamilton Musical Instruments maintains a healthy balance of traditional business values with a keen sense for new business ideas. Getting new customers and keeping existing customers are equally important to us. As the internet has changed all our lives we continue to grow from strength to strength applying the tried and trusted methods of traditional retail sales to this new world of internet sales and store sales. The world is a smaller place but we are all still individuals within it. It is so much more fun selling to some one you can have a chat with, either email phone or in the shop than just sending boxes via couriers. Our company has a solid financial basis to trade and all premises are owned in full by the directors.

Our Music Shop is on the outskirts of Preston with forecourt parking for 8 cars. Our closest town is Blackpool and nearby is Lytham St Annes. Blackburn and Southport are close by. Lancaster, Morecambe, Wigan, Burnley, Ormskirk, Bolton, Leigh, Accrington are also near me. Manchester Liverpool and Cumbria are around an hour away.
