PRS SE Custom 24 Sand Blasted Swamp Ash Limited Edition - Fire Red

This is a stunning looking limited run of guitars from PRS. Featuring solid swamp ash caps which are then sand blasted to give a rough look and feel and stained in various colours including this Fire Red. Limited to only small numbers for the UK grab one of these whilst you can as once they are gone they are gone.

Construction

Same as your traditional SE Custom 24 but with a twist! Cut to the popular double cut away shape which not only feels comfortable against your body but allows easy access to the upper frets, consisting of a mahogany back to provide resonance and sustain, then topped off with a solid swamp ash cap which is then sand blasted and stained in fire red. This technique has been stolen from the high end private stock range of guitars and is usually reserved for custom orders only, it isn't often you see such a unique and stunning technic used on sub £1000 guitars. Fitted to the body is a mahogany neck which has a satin finish to allow for slip free movement up and down the neck.

Tone & Pickups

The guitar comes Fitted with SE versions of the PRS 85/15 pickups which are made to be as close to the USA pickup set as possible but to a budget to keep the guitar at an affordable price and they sound amazing for the price. with the addition of the mahogany construction, smooth playability the coil tap feature allowing you to split the hum buckers to sound like single coils this guitar really does have it all and can produce a massive variety of sounds which can fit into any genre of music you could think of playing, This is what makes the custom 24 such a poplar guitar.
