The 35th Anniversary Custom 24 is here to celebrate 35 years of guitar making and innovation. Designed around the guitar that started it all, the Custom 24, this limited-edition model captures the foundational elements of the iconic model and adds the musical functionality of the Paul's Guitar, creating a new, versatile platform. The 35th Anniversary Custom 24 features 85/15 treble and bass pickups that are paired with two mini-toggle switches that allow players to put either or both pickups in humbucking or true single-coil mode. The clarity and unique tones of these vintage-inspired pickups are both big and nuanced, so players can easily find their sweet spot. The core range Custom 24 is known by guitarists all around the world for its superior tone, build quality, stunning looks and straight up reliability. This is the model which has helped PRS guitars to achieve the fantastic reputation which it has today. They are known by players all around the world and a Custom 24 is a lot of peoples dream guitar which they aspire to own one day!

Construction

The body is made up of a solid mahogany back, topped off with a stunning maple cap finished in this stunning Jade Smokeburst. This is a perfect pairing of tone woods used on a massive variety of PRS guitars due to its fantastic tonal properties, resonance and resilience. The carved maple cap feels fantastic and fits comfortably whilst playing stood up or sat down. Joined to the body is a solid mahogany neck cut to the extremely comfortable pattern thin neck profile which is an updated version of PRS's traditional Wide Thin neck. At the end of the neck you have a lush rosewood face to the headstock and a 35th anniversary truss rod cover and private stock bars logo which looks fantastic and is pleasing to the eyes.

Pickups & Tone

This 35th anniversary model comes with fitted with a set of 85/15 pickups, these pickups were specifically designed for the modern guitar player. They are known for their extreme clarity and extended low and top end. These pickups are fantastic for any style of music you could think of. these pickups are controlled by a 3-position toggle switch with individual coil tap switches for each people which allows for a "strat" like single coil sound, as well as a master volume and tone control.
