The award winning Nord C1 organ now has a big brother. The C1 set the bar offering an organ sound and touch that had never been seen in such a portable and affordable product. Now the new Nord C2 has raised the bar once more.
Included in the C2 are the renowned organ sounds modelled in Nord C1 organ such as Farfisa, Tonewheel and Vox. However, added to this setup is now a truly stunning baroque pipe organ. This addiion makes the Nord C2 as much at home in a church or congregational hall as it is at home or at a jazz gig.
The Nord C2 has a total of 21 stops distributed across the Swell (9 stops) manual, the Great (9 stops) manual and the bass section (3 stops). The pipe organ is - contrary to the C2's tonewheel organ, Vox* and Farfisa* models - sampled, using Nords longtime experience and expertise in the sample acquisition and sample playback technologies.
To make this even more functional for the church organist, Nord have brought in a new 27 note pedal board which can be purchased seperately. This makes the C2 possibly the worlds first portable church organ! They have also released a stand which house the pedals and organ neatly as you would expect (Nord C2 is Pictured left with optional pedals and stand).
