    Lightweight, Portable and Incredibly Good

    The Nord Electro 4 HP is a super lightweight portable stage piano, organ and sample player in the usual sleek red nord chassis and weighing in at just 11Kg. In a nutshell the Electro 4HP offers the ultimate combination of nord sounds for the gigging musician.

    Nord is renowned for their piano sound and produce an incredibly realistic and responsive piano for all needs. The Electro 4 HP houses a specialized library for Grand, Upright and Electrical Pianos, Clavinet and Harpsichords with full access to the Nord sample library for a vast collection of pianos for every taste.

    Nord have kitted the electro 4 HP with the a long release function allowing for smoother passages when playing legato along with string resonance to accurately reproduce the resonating string harmonics created on a real life acoustic piano.



    Each Fatar keybed is meticulously calibrated at the Nord factory to ensure an even response over the whole range.

    Hammer Action Portable (HP)
    The HP keybed uses amazingly portable weighted hammer action piano keys. Perfect for electric and acoustic piano sounds, but also works great for organ playing.

    Semi Weighted Waterfall (SW)
    This keybed type uses semi weighted organ type keys with a rounded "waterfall" tip, brilliant for rapid organ shredding and synthesizer licks, but also plays nice with piano sounds.
    Key range C-C on Electro 4D SW61 and F-F on Electro 4 SW73.

    The organ section takes full advantage of digital drawbar technology for an almost infinite organ sound selection. The classic B3tone wheel sound engine has been derived taken from the Nord C2D organ offering enhanced key click and percussion simulation. This is coupled with a new 122 rotary cabinet simulation for the ultimate organ reproduction.

    The organ section also contains Vox and Farfisa organ simulations. Both organs have a distinct character and tone and the electro 4HP reproduces the sounds to a T!

    The ELectro 4 HP has full acces tot he nord sample library sounds. Whether you need classic mellotron sounds or vinateg sounds from old Roland synths and a whole range of instruments, the sample library makes it easy to download and install into your Nord using the Sample manager software. Electro 4 HP comes pre-loaded with a nice selection of sample sounds ready to play.

    All sounds can be processed through Electro 4s on board effects processor. Phasers, flangers, chorus, delay, reverb, wah, copressors, amp simulations and more are vailable at the touch of a dial to tweak and get creative with your sounds. All of this and more is housed in a product weighing just 11Kg - this is the ultimate gigging instrument.
