The Nord Electro 4D adds a fresh take on the popular Electro 3 keyboard. New organ sound engine with enhanced drawbar control, long Release suitable for legato playing and selectable String Resonance on pianos plus many other new features.
Nord have update the Electro range with the new Nord Electro 4D, 61 key portable stage keyboard. Staying in touch with its renowned heritage Nords red chassis and incredible sound quality remains in tact with improvements and new add-ons making the Electro 4D the perfect gigging machine.
Hammer Action Portable (HP)
The HP keybed uses amazingly portable weighted hammer action piano keys. Perfect for electric and acoustic piano sounds, but also works great for organ playing.
Key range E-E.
This keybed type uses semi weighted organ type keys with a rounded "waterfall" tip, brilliant for rapid organ shredding and synthesizer licks, but also plays nice with piano sounds.
Key range C-C on Electro 4D SW61 and F-F on Electro 4 SW73.
Each Fatar keybed is meticulously calibrated at the Nord factory to ensure an even response over the whole range.
Nord have added many features to the Electro 4D. First and foremost the sound generation has been upgraded to use the same processing as the new Nord C2D drawbar organ. Nord have even added new physical drawbars to the top panel of the Nord Electro 4D to enhance and bring back that real feel of drawbars from back in the day. To top off the new organ sounds Nor have improved the Click-modeling and there's a brand new Rotary Speaker simulation with a new Drive.
The Nord Electro 4D now has Long Release suitable for legato playing and selectable String Resonance for the pianos bringing them up to date with the latest Nord Piano technology. Handling and selecting programs live has been improved with 4 Program Banks and 4 Live Locations.
Of course the Effect section has been updated now includes a flexible new Delay Effect with tap-tempo, rate, amount and a stereo Ping-Pong mode.
The Nord Electro 4D has kept the waterfall style keyboard, perfect for gliss style organ playing and slides. This semi-weighted keyboard can now be used as a great feel input controller for your DAW as the USB port now doubles as an USB-MIDI interfaceNord Electro 4 Specification
