Martin 000-10E Electro-Acoustic Guitar Inc Shell Case

Construction

The Martin 000-10E boast an all solid construction at an affordable price. The body is cut to the extremely popular 000 body shape, consisting of a Sapele top, Back and Sides. Sapele is a close relative of mahogany and has very similar tonal properties and looks, this gives you a similar low end to mid range prominant tone but sapele differs as it tends to deliver more top end definition. Joined to the body is a Select hardwood neck which joins at the 14th fret and is cut to the popular performing artist neck profile. Sat atop of the neck is a Richlite fretboard consisting of 20 frets with mother of pearl pattern dot inlays.

Electronics

The 000-10E Comes fitted with Fishman MX-T Electronics, this is similar to the vastly used Sonitone system with the added benefit of a mid-scoop control and a built in tuner. The tuner on this system allows for an output mute which allows you to tune quietly on stage without changing your volume. The tuner and controls are neatly tucked away within the soundhole to allow for a clean finish around the sides of the guitar. Having no plastic box around the edge of the guitar allows the guitar to in turn have more wood which can only benefit your tone rather than hinder it.
