      The Mapex black Panther Hydro is part of the new range of Black panther snare drums introduced in 2020. The Hydro is a 13 x 7 Maple Snare drum with Mapex's Soniclear bearing edge and Sonic saver hoops. The Hydro offers full body sounds with a fat low end to help drive any song of any genre of music. the Hydro is an excellent choice for all players who want a driving force behind the kit offering low crunchy tones with a lovely mid range rumble. The Hydro is finished in a smart flat black Lacquer finish with brushed black hardware

      Mapex's unique bearing edge technology ensures better contact between drum head and shell. This increased head-to-shell contact improves shell vibration and allows for greater resonance, as well as easier tuning. The sonic nuances of your snare strikes and rolls will sound better than ever.
