The Korg XE20 is a full featured 88 note digital piano with built-in speakers and 88 note piano touch. However, it also combines the power of backing styles, chord recognition and a fully featured arranger system for playing keyboard style. It is easy to create a full featured performance by yourself with bass, drums, backing, lead and even record everything using the 12 track sequencer.
A Great Piano And More
First and foremost the XE20 is a superb piano. The piano touch feels like a real piano and there are a whole range of instruments to choose from. However there are 2 distinct main piano sounds - The German and the Italian grands. Both have their own distinct qualities to cover all styles of playing and offer superb quality sound.
There are over 700 sounds to choose from overall covering e.piano, guitars, strings woodwind, brass, synth and more!
Auto Accompaniment
The backing style section offers over 280 styles to play along with. The backings offer bass, drums and accompaniment parts that will follow either single finger or full fingered chords and enhance your performance. The style also have intros, endings and variations to ensure your performance is exciting.
Record Your Performance
Set your sounds and styles and record your performance using the built-in 12 track sequencer. You can save your performance and play it back later whenever you please! As well as recording you can also perform alongside your own music or your favourite artists with the audio player which can play .WAV or .MP3 files.
In-Built Speakers
The speakers have been designed to offer excellent clarity and bass depth, perfectly matched to the product. When using styles the bass and drums depth shines through and yet when playing piano the clarity and accurace of the sounds is superb.
Compact Design
Despite offering a quality 88 note piano touch with built-in speaker system the Korg XE20 remains comapct and incredibly lightweight. At a weight of only 11.4Kg (without the stand), and a depth of only 336mm, the instrument can fit in most smaller sized rooms where space can be at a premium, all without sacrificing quality.
