The 18i6 comes with Focusrites Scarlett suite of EQ, compression, reverb and gating plug-ins, to bring a touch of class to your mixes. Also included is a host of royalty-free loops and samples, a full-fledged soft-synth and Ableton Live Lite 8, providing an affordable upgrade path to Ableton Live
The Scarlett 18i6 also ships with the Scarlett Mix software. This software is an ultra-low latency mixing control for the 18i6 inputs. Audio can be routed and controlled using just a single piece of software. Input gains, channels volumes and audio routing between software can all be done using the Mix Control. A clever Loop-Back feature allows the user to route audio from streaming internet audio through to your software for recording and sampling.
