Construction

This American Professional Precision Bass is made of an Alder body which provides a fantastic mid-range punch, yet keeping the guitar relatively lightweight and comfortable. Fitted to the beautiful Alder Body you have a maple neck with the newly availble 1963 C profile which is considered by many to be the gold standard of bass neck profiles, paired with a 9.5" fretboard radius to allows for ampul control across the full length of the neck. Finished off with a Satin Urethane finish on the back of the neck you get enough grip under any conditions with no room for spilling or misplacing fingers.

Electronics

The Fender American Professional Precision basses come fitted with the new V-Mod Single coil pickups which use alnico 5 magnets on the treble side and alnico 2 on the bass side to deliver an accurate classic tone with all the vintage warmth and crisp tones you could ever hope for from your P-Bass. All controlled from a single volume and single tone knob you don't get much more simple yet have a wide pale of tones with just these two controls.
