Fender Vintera 70s Stratocaster Mocha Inc Gigbag

The Fender Vintera range has been created to reproduce classic guitars from specific eras of fenders guitar history. This 70's model has been created using era specific features such as the same neck profile used in the 70's as well as pickups which have been re-voiced to produce a classic vintage Fender tone.

      Construction

The Vintera 70's Stratocaster consists of classic strat shaped Ash body rather than your standard Alder. Ash was widely used on older Fender models and has slowly been replaced with the more popular Alder so this gives a throwback to the chiming highs, well-defined midrange and strong low end the wood is known for. Joined to the body you have a maple neck which is remarkably comfortable. The Early 70s C-shaped neck profile is sculpted for a period correct playing feel with it being thinner at the first fret, thicker at the twelfth. The neck is topped with a Pau Ferro fretboard hosting 21 vintage style frets, the 7.25"-radius fingerboard provides the comfortable playing feel of a vintage instrument. A top of the neck you have the classic big 70s style headstock which is still popular today.

      Tone & Hardware

This Vintera 70s stratocaster has perfectly re-voiced pickups to create era specific tone. The three single coils feature Flat-staggered pole pieces (an authentic 70s element) create a balanced string-to-string response. Crystalline and bell-like, they have the crisp, articulate sound that put Fender on the map. All controlled with a classic 5-position blade switch, master volume and 2 tone controls this guitar can easily re-create every strat sound you can imagine. True to the era this model comes fitted with a 6-point synchronised tremolo, f-stamped machine heads, three-bolt neck plate, chrome hardware and vintage-style strap buttons.
